I visited Kettering General Hospital with a problem. The doctor ignored me and sent me to be followed up with an optician. I have myopic macular degeneration bilaterally. I have a floater in my good eye. As a diagnosis-problem it is recorded that I am myopic. Myopia. The examination was 2 out of 3, I had the feeling that he couldn't wait to send me away. I am a former patient of the clinic and I did not expect such treatment. I am disappointed. I thought that this is the place where they help people with what is most valuable to them - their eyesight. It seems that I was lied to. I was sent to be followed up in an optician. Where they are only interested in selling me another pair of glasses, but not in examining the problem with my eyes. I am desperate.
