How Do I Stop Hairfall at 16?

Patient's Query

Im 16 years old girl. Im suffering from hairfall issues. What should i do?

Answered by Dr. Archit Aggarwal

The incidence of hair fall is rather alarming, particularly in your generation. The most common reasons include tension, hormonal fluctuations, the inadequacy of certain nutrients, and some specific health issues. Observe signs such as general weakness, missing patches, or excessive hair fall. To maintain a healthy scalp, make sure to include a well-balanced diet in the menu that is rich in vitamins and minerals, reduce mental stress to manage stress, and keep up with hair care practices. Besides, it's a good practice to abstain from very tight hairstyles that can lead to hair pulling. In case the trouble is constant or aggravated, I suggest you seek the advice of a dermatologist

What medication can I take to cure the infection (itchy rashes on my private part and yansh)?

Male | 20

A rash affecting your intimate areas may indicate a yeast or bacterial infection. This condition is widespread, so there's no need for embarrassment. For treatment, a doctor could recommend an antifungal cream or antibiotic ointment. Maintain cleanliness and dryness in the affected region. Wear loose-fitting garments. Refrain from scratching to expedite healing.

Help I smoothening my hair in August 8 and I regret I want my natural hair back help how to get my natural hair back thx..

Female | 14

The smoothening change is temporary. Your natural hair will come back in time. Speeding up the growth of your natural hair is possible by using nourishing hair products and avoiding further chemical treatments. Be a little patient, and then your natural hair will come back.

Female | 26

This will then require a medical specialist to assess the swelling and find out what causes it. It is recommended to visit a dermatologist in such cases, who can detect and treat skin diseases. However, do not attempt self diagnosis

Want best Fever lip blisters ointment. Don't want to eat medicine. I'm pregnant.

Female | 40

If you happen to have a high fever with lip blisters and during pregnancy you can't use medicine, rest easy. These come from a virus mostly. Try petroleum jelly ointments or aloe vera to help in wound healing and to keep the area moist. Also, press a cold pack a couple of times a day. Don't forget to drink lots of water and have enough sleep for the body to strengthen and overpower the virus.

I am 27 years old female and have dry skin type. Lately my skin on the torso, waist and hip has become extremely dry & flaky. Even piling doesn't affect it. I then tried aveeno cream which has reduced flakiness, but it's still very tough to touch and skin on these areas has become stretchy as well as scaly. My grandmother had this skin. It's strange because skin everywhere else is normal, but there it's becoming old and wrinkled. I drink 2-3 litres water daily, although piling doesn't help but I still oil everyday. Pls help. I also take vitamin E capsules, sea cod, vitamin c chewables, and B complex capsules. My skin overall is dry and scalp has dandruff because of this too. There are sometimes small patches of dry skin at random areas like back, forearm and torso, and when I scratch away it goes off like flakes. But this dry, rough and wrinkled skin on my torso, waist and hip is bothering me.

Female | 27

There are a few things you can try to help with your dry, rough and wrinkled skin. First, make sure you are using a moisturizer that is specially formulated for dry skin. Look for ingredients like shea butter, cocoa butter, or almond oil. These will help provide moisture and nourishment to the skin. You may also want to try a richer cream, such as body butter or a balm, to provide extra hydration.

You can also try using a gentle exfoliator to help remove any dead skin cells and promote cell turnover. This will help the skin to look smoother and help with flakiness.

In addition to using moisturizers and exfoliators, you should also make sure you are getting enough vitamins and minerals in your diet. Vitamins A, C, and E are all important for healthy skin, as well as omega-3 fatty acids. Eating a balanced diet with plenty of fruits and vegetables can help you get the nutrients you need for healthy skin.

Finally, make sure you are drinking plenty of water throughout the day. This will help keep your skin hydrated and help prevent dryness.
