How to regrow hair on a 5cm area at the back of my head without a hair transplant after carbuncle surgery?

I had an operation on back side of my head in which the area was infected with an infection called carbuncle and it was cut to remove it and then the skin there regenerated soon, but its 3 years and the hair there hasn't grown yet. the diameter of that are is approx 5cm. Is there any other way to get hair back without hair transplant?

I recommend that you see a dermatologist for this issue. The scar tissue that resulted from the surgery might have injured the hair follicles, thus depriving them of any regrowth. Unfortunately, there is no scientifically based treatment to re-grow hair in scar tissue except by means of a transplant. Some topical treatments may be prescribed by a dermatologist

My Grandmother is Bedridden for past 4 years. For past 1 month she is having Bedsores in between the shoulder blades which measures around 5×5 cm. Initially we did dressing and it healed leaving a black scar. But for past 2 days we noticed pus discharge from one edge of the scar with foul smell. Inside the scar it is fluctuant. Do we have to remove the entire scar and do the dressing or through the opening in the edge of the scar irrigating and giving antibiotic wash along with betadine gauze packing in the abscess cavity is enough? 2. To prevent further bed sores which bed is good? Water bed or Air Bed?

Concerning the prevention of further sores, both water beds and air beds are useful by alleviating the pressure on her skin.
