Why Do I Have Rashes and Fever?

Patient's Query

I have rashes on my body and I’ve a bit fever I don’t know what is the cause I’m really worried about it

Answered by Dr. Archit Aggarwal

I understand your concerns about having rashes along with a mild fever. These symptoms can occur due to various factors, such as allergies, infections, or skin conditions. It's essential to monitor additional signs, such as itching or pain, which can help identify the cause. Ensuring proper hydration and rest is crucial. However, I recommend consulting a dermatologist to evaluate your symptoms thoroughly and receive personalized treatment.

I m suffering from cold abscess right side neck recurring it is chance to tb

Female | 34

The causes of the cold abscess might include a bacterial infection but tuberculosis is the other explanation. The signs can be a painless lump, the fever, and sometimes sweating at night. It is vital to get a thorough examination and treatment from a doctor who may prescribe antibiotics for a bacterial infection or TB specific medications if needed.

Hello Doctor, I am a 30 year old female and I recently noticed open pores on my face, what should I do? My daily routine is: use himalaya neem face wash, then moisturize skin and I happen to have oily & dull skin. Can you pls suggest what should I do? Thank you!

Female | 30

I would like to start by recommending a daily skincare routine for the problems you are facing. Start with Oil control cleansers with AHA's or BHA's to clear the oil and dirt from your face 2-4 times a day. Use a Vit C serum or day serum in the morning if you are at home and you can add sunscreen on top if you are going to go out and will get exposed to sunlight. Evening, after wash use a toner to neutralize and calm your skin. Before bed, use a coat of moisturizer and additional retinol-based anti-aging serum to finish. If it's a major concern, please contact a dermatologist.

Please I've been over sweating this past week, I don't know why. I sweat a lot in sunny conditions, but this time it's soo much worse I don't know why. My height is 5 feet 5 and my weight is 90kg. Please what do you think the problem is?

Female | 22

Hyperhidrosis may be warned by profuse sweating, specially in sunny days. But one must rule out any underlying medical condition such as thyroid or inflammatory disease. I advise you to visit a dermatologist for assessment and diagnosis. They can offer treatments and guidance on the condition’s management.

Hi...i am having itchy rash outside my vagina and thighs , its been 2days

Female | 24

Fungal infections can lead to an itchy rash in the vaginal and thigh area. The warm and humid climate is an ideal growth environment for fungi. Keep the area dry and clean. You can use antifungal creams available over the counter to help clear it up. Moreover, wearing loose and breathable clothes is also important.

Black vertical line on the right thumb of 2 yrs old boy. Line is growing as nail grows. It started in sept 2020 and by Feb line covered full nail. No nail trauma or any history of such line in family.

Male | 2

It is possible that the black vertical line on the boy's thumb nail is a result of a melanonychia striata, which is a linear nail melanin pigmentation. It is relatively common in children and is generally harmless. However, it is important to have it evaluated by a doctor, especially if it is growing, to rule out any underlying medical conditions.

I have red dots on my shaft (penis) and I can't figure out what they are, I've looked at pictures (regrettably) and none of them look like what I have. My first thought was pimples/acne, because I haven't had a good shower schedule nor have I had a good diet, but they don't look like pimples, they have black dots in the middle. I don't think it's itchy, at least the 4-5 bumps on the shaft, but I have maybe 2 or 3 on my scrotum that itch though. I thought bugs might be the issue but I've thoroughly checked my room and there are none. In terms of how they look, they're red, no white, 1 has black in the middle (maybe a growing hair?). I don't think it's any STIs since me and my girlfriend haven't had sex/sexual contact in months, it doesnt look like most of the ones i looked up, and this is only appearing now. I just don't know what to do about this and I need help diagnosing since I don't have the money for a doctors appointment.

Male | 18

It seems you're showing some alarming symptoms. The red bumps with black centers may be due to folliculitis (inflamed hair follicles), burn or a mild fungal disorder. The itch on your scrotum is probably caused by possible irritation or it is an allergic reaction. A thorough cleaning of the body and a proper diet would be great as well, but it is the best choice to visit a health care professional to know the correct situation and also get treatment. They have the capability to provide the relevant care and the necessary reassurance. As health should be your priority, always think about getting assistance when you have a problem.

Male | 2 months completed I I fzre

You have some redness near your anus, and using Siloderm cream was a good step as suggested by your doctor. However, since there's no improvement after three weeks, it's important to see your doctor again. The redness could be due to irritation, allergies, or a skin issue. Your doctor may need to try different treatments or do more checks to find out what's causing it.

I have recurrent canker sores for the past 6 months, taken antibiotics and oral care but it keep coming. Please what could be the cause

Male | 34

The pesky thing is recurrent canker sores. They are small, shallow sores in your mouth. A stressor, weakness of the immune system, and certain foods can provoke them. Genetic predisposition may also be a reason why some folks are more prone to having them. To reduce pain, use over-the-counter ointments or gels that are intended for canker sores. Also, try to sail through stress and eat a healthy diet.

Hello I consume ketanzole lotion by mistake 1 teaspoon what should I do

Male | 47

If this did happen, don’t panic too much, as it can occur. Ketoconazole contains an ingredient that can be harmful when ingested. Symptoms such as stomach ache, nausea, or vomiting are likely to occur. If you notice any of these signs, seek medical attention immediately. In the meantime, try not to get too worked up about it. Instead, drink plenty of water to help reduce the concentration of the drug in your system.
