If I look inside my nose in the mirror with flash on the pink fleshy part is really close together in each nostril. Does this mean enlarged turbinates? And does it go away on its own? I woke up with a blocked nose 2 days ago randomly and my nose has been feeling congested since. If I close my mouth I can’t breathe through my nose. If I blow air out of my nostrils I can only feel it coming out of one nostril and it alternates between each nostril. I was able to breathe normally with my mouth completely closed just 2 days ago. How can I fix this? There is some mucus but not a lot.
Female | 25
The pink fleshy parts you see are likely normal structures, but they may appear enlarged during congestion. This condition can improve over time. To alleviate symptoms, try using saline nasal sprays, staying hydrated, and inhaling steam. If symptoms persist or worsen, seeing a healthcare professional for a thorough evaluation is a good idea to rule out any underlying issues and receive appropriate treatment.

I cant hear properly for last 7 days (left ear) I think, its because of heavy ear wax. I once had this problem. So i guessed it. Now what should i do?
Female | 23
Ear wax buildup blocks sound. That could explain hearing trouble. You hear worse in one ear. Also, ear fullness, and discomfort too. Try ear drops first, and soften the wax. If that doesn't work, see an ENT specialist. They can remove the wax safely.

I have sore throat, pain, clogged ears , coughing and blowing my nose a lot
Female | 58
A sore throat, stuffy ears, cough, and frequent nose blowing suggest you have a common cold or viral infection. These result from your body battling the virus. To improve, rest well, stay hydrated, and use over-the-counter meds for relief. However, if symptoms persist or worsen, visit an ENT specialist.

My aunt suffering with black fungus, symptoms are observed 3 days before will she recover Please reply sir
Female | 55
Black fungus is a disease that can occur in people with weakened immune systems, like those who have uncontrolled diabetes. Symptoms can involve a stuffy nose, facial pain, swelling, and black crusts in the nose. Treatment every time requires antifungal medication and, in some cases, surgery. Recovery is possible with a good approach that includes beginning treatment early and it depends on the individual health condition. Find an ENT specialist to treat this condition.

Hey I have a visible epiglottis and a little bit of tonsils at the back of my tongue I have had a heartburn but not anymore the epiglottis is still visible and so are the tonsils ( only 2 now) but they are not painful but I just feel like something is stuck on the right side my throat whenever I swallow saliva and a little bit of a burning sensation after taking an acid reflux medication. Is it normal or a sign of throat cancer
Female | 20
A visible epiglottis and slightly enlarged tonsils can be normal for some people, but the sensation of something stuck in your throat and the burning after taking acid reflux medication might need further evaluation. These symptoms are not necessarily a sign of throat cancer, but it's important to get them checked. I strongly recommend visiting an ENT specialist to assess your condition and provide the right advice.

Dear Sir / Ma'am Pain in the throat whenever i wake up in the morning.mouth taste is also bitter .Sometimes blood also comes.
Male | 30
Pain in the throat and a bitter taste in the mouth can be signs of an underlying infection, such as a throat infection or tonsillitis. It is also possible that the symptoms are due to other causes, such as acid reflux or allergies. If you experience this symptom on a regular basis, it would be best to consult with your doctor for a proper diagnosis and treatment plan. Your doctor may suggest further tests, such as blood tests, throat swabs, or imaging tests, to determine the cause of your symptoms.

Measles might be the cause of your swollen hands, feet, and dizziness. This highly contagious virus spreads through coughing or sneezing. It has no specific treatment. Rest, drink fluids, and care for yourself until it passes. If infected, avoid others to prevent spreading measles.

My grandfather age is 69 before 4 months he had second brain stroke now he has cough in his throat which not come out from his mouth so please doctor how to remove cough from throat
Male | 68
Your grandfather is likely experiencing throat congestion, which is common among stroke people. This could be caused by the fact that after a stroke, a person may have difficulty swallowing. When we swallow, the cough should come out of the mouth. Be sure to hydrate him by drinking lots of fluids. A speech therapist who can teach exercises to improve swallowing and coughing should be seen. Apart from that, he will also be able to make the cough from his throat disappear.

Hi my name is Rachael and I went to see the doctor and they said that I have an ear infection I'm my right ear I'm already on antibiotics and ear drops i don't remember the brand of the antibiotics I don't know my medications that I take
Female | 31
An ear infection can cause discomfort, including pain, drainage, and sometimes hearing difficulties. Typically, these are due to bacteria or viruses. Since you're already on antibiotics and using ear drops, you're on the right path for recovery. Make sure to complete the full course of your antibiotics even if you start feeling better. Staying hydrated and resting will also aid healing. If symptoms worsen or persist, please reach out to your ENT specialist for further evaluation.

i am facing pain in my ear by using headphones from last 1 day when i feel very little pqin i take it off and for 1 day i was not using it but now i again use it and i feel more pain than yesterday and it is 2 hour now i am send this chat i am feel pain not too much but not little it is noticeable pain in inner side of ear which is near to my jaw and ear intersection point
Male | 24
You may have developed an ear infection from wearing headphones too often. The pain near your jaw and ear could signal this issue. Prolonged headphone use can sometimes trap bacteria, leading to infections. Take a break from using headphones, and try applying a warm cloth to the affected ear area. However, if the discomfort persists, it would be wise to consult an ENT specialist for proper diagnosis and treatment recommendations.

Female | 21
It seems that your infection, which is not currently being cured, is getting worse. The constant pain could be because of inflammation and ear pressure. You might want to visit the ENT specialist for a follow-up. Moreover, to alleviate some discomfort, you can apply warm compresses in your ear.

Hello, I'm 20 years old and my voice stopped developing around 16, so I speak in a high voice for my age. When I speak quietly, it's fine, but when I have to speak more loudly, the voice is very unpleasant for me and those around me. Since I'm about to do a job that requires a normal voice, I need to sort this out. I visited the ENT and she checked my vocal cords. The doctor said that the vocal cords are completely healthy and I should try different voice exercises. So since then, I try to speak in the lowest possible voice in public and at every opportunity, but no change is manifested. I've also found that I've been developing a second voice for several years now that sounds male to me. But I can't talk to him automatically, and when I try, it gets annoying after a while. What can I do?
mužský | 20
Your vocal cords appear okay, but you face a voice challenge. Voices sometimes change uncomfortably or unusually. The high pitch and second male-like tone could result from vocal habits or muscle tension. A speech therapist specializing in voice disorders can help. They'll give exercises and techniques to find a more natural, comfortable voice.

One side nose block problem
Female | 30
Unilateral nasal obstruction or one-sided stuffed nose is another name for this type of blockage. Allergies, infections such as sinusitis, and even the common cold can result in this. Additionally, other symptoms may include sneezing, a runny nose, and difficulty breathing. To help clear the blockage, you can use over-the-counter decongestants, saline nasal sprays, or a humidifier. If there is no improvement after a few days see an ENT specialist.

Dear Doctor, I'm an 18-year-old male. About 15-16 days ago, I had a really bad cold with symptoms including a sore throat, headache, and fever. After 7-8 days, my cold symptoms healed, but I still had a sore throat, hoarse voice, a completely blocked right ear, and I was constantly coughing up green mucus. Four days ago, I visited a doctor and was prescribed moxifloxacin 400mg once a day for 5 days (today is day 3). While my coughing has generally decreased, I still have a sore throat and my right ear is still blocked, although it did briefly open for a few minutes yesterday. This has been ongoing for three weeks, and I'm starting to lose hope as I'm not sure what I have or if I'll get better. In addition to moxifloxacin, here are the other medications I'm currently taking: Nasacort AQ (once a day) - today is day 6 Phenadone (twice a day) - today is day 8 Nexium (once a day) - today is day 6 Ganaton (three times a day) - today is day 6 Seretide Accuhaler Diskus (twice a day) - today is day 8 Polymer Adult Hypertonic 3% (twice a day) - today is day 3 Could you please help me understand what might be causing these persistent symptoms and advise on any further steps I should take? Thank you for your assistance.
Male | 18
When someone coughs up green phlegm, that means they have an infection. Your condition may be because of a stubborn bacterial infection which will need more time to completely clear up. Take your medicine as prescribed and ensure you finish the full course of antibiotics. If your symptoms continue or get worse then I think it’d be wise for you to go to an ENT specialist so they can conduct further tests on you.

The right side of my nostril has closed in in recent years and this has lead to hard mucus forming in my nostril and causing a lot of discomfort and pain and making it hard to breathe at times. Would you be able to explain what the cause of this may be and why my nostril is so closed in causing this discomfort and the hard snot forming.
Female | 25
It sounds like you're experiencing nasal obstruction, which can occur due to several factors such as allergies, nasal polyps, or structural issues like a deviated septum. This narrowing can lead to the buildup of thick mucus, resulting in discomfort and difficulty breathing. To alleviate your symptoms, consider using saline nasal sprays to moisturize and clear the passages. However, I recommend scheduling an appointment with a ENT Specialist who can assess your situation and suggest appropriate treatments, which may include medication or other interventions to improve your breathing and comfort.

My back forehead is pulling by force all of my head towards it also stiff neck on left side and confusion...I have severe sinusitis and large antrochaoanal polyps in my left side nose and continuous nasal congestion of yellow discharge and white colour lastly there
Male | 30
The symptoms that you mentioned such as the pressure in your forehead, stiff neck, and confusion could be due to severe sinusitis and polyps on the left nostril. The presence of the discharge of yellow and white, as well as the nasal congestion, is a clear indication of a sinus problem. Medication such as sinus sprays, antibiotics, or surgery mainly to clear the polyps is used. You had better consult an ENT specialist who will provide an accurate diagnosis and recommend the proper treatment for you.
