been under investigation for upper left sided stomach and chest pain for about 2 years now. The pain usually comes during strenuous activity causing me to stop what I’m doing. I had a hiatus hernia which recently got repaired by surgery to stop the acid reflux but doctors did not think that this would stop the pain I was getting which it hasn’t! I’ve had CT scans which have supposedly been normal, an ultra sound which shown an enlarged spleen and an hematoma on the spleen. (Doctors don’t seem concerned by this) Bloods are also fairly normal as been told nothing stands out. Not sure what causes this pain as it’s interfering with every day life
Male | 25
You've been through a lot with this ongoing pain, especially after having surgery for a hiatus hernia. Since the CT scans and ultrasounds have shown an enlarged spleen and hematoma, it's important to follow up with a gastroenterologist or a hematologist. They can help you understand whether these findings could be related to your pain and guide you toward the right treatment.

I had a colonoscopy on Friday and I am super bloated with major cramps. I also have barely been able to use the restroom since and it hurts to touch my abdomen.
Female | 35
You're having some unpleasant sensations after your colonoscopy. After the procedure, one may feel a little bloated with cramps and experience a difficult time using the restroom. It can be attributed to the air that gets stuck in your colon or the irritation of your intestines. To relieve the discomfort, drink plenty of water, walk around gently, and eat light and easy-to-digest foods like fruits and veggies. Your body needs some time to recover, but if the pain continues or worsens, contact a gastroenterologist for more advice.

I have piles . I want to help
Male | 18
Hemorrhoids, also known as piles, are enlarged veins located in the anus or rectum area. These swollen vessels may cause discomfort, irritation, and bleeding when having bowel movements. Excess pressure on the blood vessels results in piles forming. Contributing factors include difficulties passing stools, being overweight, or prolonged sitting periods. Preventing piles involves consuming fiber-rich foods, drinking adequate water regularly, and avoiding straining during bowel movements. Incorporating gentle exercises can also prove beneficial. If piles develop, over-the-counter ointments and creams offer relief temporarily. However, consulting a gastroenterologist regarding any concerning symptoms is advisable.

I’m very bloated and cramping very bad
Female | 23
You seem to be unable to deal with bloating and cramps in a very severe manner. Bloating is the condition when the stomach is too tight and too full. Cramps are pain that you experience in your abdomen. This is generally due to gas in your intestines. Some foods or eating too fast may cause this. Try to drink warm water, walk, and avoid soft drinks. Don't get discouraged if your efforts are seemingly ineffective, tell someone.

I am having bubbly pee and itching in whole body since a long time. I also have piles
Female | 45
You could be having a urinary tract infection as a result of a bubbly pee effect and an allergic reaction where your body is itching all over. The piles too might be a reason for some pain. Drinking plenty of water to water down the infection then using creams for anti-itch to your skin. To relieve the piles, try including fiber in your diet, and do not cut the effort when you go to the bathroom. If the symptoms are persistent or worsen, you should visit a gastroenterologist.

Is there more urine in jaundice or fatty liver
Male | 18
Jaundice is a disease of the liver with the surface of a patient's skin turning yellow because a substance, bilirubin, is produced. This may result in frequent urination because the body is trying to eliminate the excess of bilirubin through urine. Fatty liver is also sometimes the cause of increased urination, mainly, through the deposition or inflammation of the liver. Consuming enough water and a healthy, balanced diet can regulate these issues.
