Can I opt for penectomy due to masturbation addiction?

Patient's Query

I want to remove my penis by total penectomy or partial penectomy. I am unmarried and will never marry. I have masturbation addiction from childhood and i want to leave this habit but unable to do. Is partial or total penectomy very harmful for my health in future. Can i do it on voluntary basis. I don't want my penis because it's a useless organ for me.

Erectile dysfunction can stem from various factors, including your medical conditions and medications. Viagra may help alleviate this issue, but it's essential to consult a sexologist before starting it. They can evaluate your health history, including your stroke and hypertension, and ensure that there are no potential interactions with your current medications. When I masturbate, semen does not come out. If I stop it by cupping it with my hand, there is no problem?

Male | 18

This issue is severe because it can lead to complications in the body through the semen being absorbed. It can be a symptom of a condition called semen retention, which may be experienced as weakness, fatigue, and sexual disorders. The treatment for this condition is proper exercise, a balanced diet, and sleep well.

Why do you have sex again and again? I am a married woman. I'm very worried

Female | 37

It's completely normal for couples to desire intimacy frequently, as it can enhance emotional connections and overall well-being. Increased libido may stem from various factors, like hormonal fluctuations, emotional closeness, or stress relief. However, if this feels overwhelming or concerning, reflecting on your feelings and communication with your partner is essential. Consider discussing any worries you have openly with them. If anxiety persists, seeking guidance from a healthcare professional can provide tailored support and reassurance. Your comfort and understanding are important, and a doctor can assist in exploring these feelings further.
