Why is my first late period concerning?

Not getting a period is something that can happen for a lot of different reasons and it’s okay if this has happened to you once or twice before. If the intercourse was rough, it could just be irritation making itself known, or possibly even a small tear in your partner’s vaginal wall. Look out for any sign that it might have been more than that, like if there’s pain at all beyond normal discomfort during sex, or weird discharge afterward. 

Possible side effects of the morning-after pill include changes to your menstrual cycle, however, do not expect these to be the case with the pill. So it's okay if you're late. Pressure or other causes may be considered by the mind as well. Your negative pregnancy tests suggest that you are probably not pregnant.

Its normal if your period gets delayed by a few day, there's nothing to worry about.. Stress, adn hormonal chanegs can also lead to a delay in your periods.. Apart from that pregnancy is another factor and if you are concerned its important that you g et it checked.
