Hello Sir, one of my friends found blood in his stool somewhat in 2020. As it was not regular and didn't cause any discomfort, he ignored this. Just 2 months back the blood stated shown frequently and he began to experience acute pain in his pelvis. And he consulted a doctor. Now he has been diagnosed with stage three rectal cancer. He stays near Dehradun. Doctor asked him to consult some other place. He is devastated now and confused about what to do now. I am asking on his behalf. Please perform colonoscopy and biopsy along with PETCT whole body and then consult a oncologist for proper line of treatment.

My masi had whipple surgery in Feb 2021. Since November she has been feeling pain, bloating stomach and cramps but initially she ignored it as it is very common in people. But recently it became severe and so I consulted our doctor. Few reports are yet to come but doctor is thinking there might be peritoneal carcinomas to her stomach lining. That can lead to the early stage of Peritoneal cancer. Can you please show some light on this? We are extremely confused

Yes post Whipple surgery pain and discomfort for limited time period is a common complain. A thorough examination and investigations are mandatory if we are suspecting any progression of disease. There are specific Cancer markers which can help us diagnose the condition. Peritoneal Carcinoma has to be ruled out as soon as possible. Hi, my father was diagnosed with carcinoma right colon, features are suggestive of well-differentiated mucinous papillary adenocarcinoma of the colon with metastasis to the lymph node and treated with extended radical right hemicolectomy side to side ileocolic anastomosis done under GA one year back followed by chemotherapy. We need a second opinion as his blood report reveals a presence of 17.9 ng/mL of carcinoembryonic antigen. Can you please suggest me a good hospital in Bangalore with less cost? The previous doctor suggested a PET CT scan.

As per my understanding, your father is suffering from carcinoma of the right colon with metastasis to lymph node and treated surgically and chemotherapy.
